Privacy policy
This policy explains how bi-automations.com (“the website”) handles personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Greek Law 4624/2019. In short, the website does not collect anything from you on purpose, sets no cookies and does not track you.

At a glance
- There are no user accounts or newsletters on this website.
- The request form sends nothing by itself: it opens your own email app with your request, and nothing reaches us until you send that email.
- We set no cookies and use no analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
- We load no scripts, fonts, maps or videos from other companies. Everything comes from our own website.
- Our hosting provider keeps technical logs for a limited time, so it can deliver the website and keep it secure.
- If you email us, we use what you send only to reply and to discuss your project.
Who is responsible for your data
The controller of your personal data is BI & Automations, the company that runs this website.
For any question or request about your personal data, email us at projects@bi-automations.com.
When you visit the website
When you open a page, your browser sends technical information to the server that hosts the website. Our hosting provider records it in server logs. These logs contain your IP address, the date and time, the page you requested, the page you came from, the response status and your browser and device type (user agent).
We use these logs only to deliver the website, keep it secure and fix errors. We do not use them to identify you or to build a profile, and we do not combine them with other data. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The logs are kept only as long as these purposes require and are then deleted.
Cookies and similar technologies
The website sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device to track you. It uses no analytics, advertising, social media plugins or embedded content from other companies. That is why you see no cookie banner.
Our fonts are stored on and served from our own website, so opening a page sends no request to Google or any other font provider.
If we ever add a tool that needs cookies or your consent, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
When you email us
When you write to projects@bi-automations.com, or use the request form, which opens your email app, we receive your email address, your name and whatever you include in your message and its attachments.
We use this information to reply, to discuss your project and, if you ask us to, to prepare an offer. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering the messages we receive (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We keep our correspondence with you for as long as we need it to handle your inquiry and any project that follows. After that, we keep it only as long as Greek tax or commercial law requires, or as long as it is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Our email provider processes messages on our behalf.
Links to other services
The website uses mailto: links, which open your own email app. When you send an email that way, your email provider’s privacy policy also applies. Some pages link to the published sources of the figures we quote; those websites have their own privacy policies.
Who receives your data
We do not sell your personal data or share it for marketing. We share it only with providers that process it on our behalf under a data processing agreement, such as our hosting and email providers. If your project needs a partner, for example an installer, we give that partner only what it needs, and always with your knowledge.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, for example to a public authority.
Transfers outside the EEA
If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we make sure the GDPR’s safeguards apply, such as an adequacy decision of the European Commission or the Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict how we use your data;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- receive the data you gave us in a portable format, where this applies.
We do not make decisions about you by automated means, and we do not profile you. To exercise any of these rights, email us at projects@bi-automations.com. We reply within one month. In complex cases this period can be extended by two more months, and we will tell you if it is. We may first ask you to confirm your identity.
Complaints
If you think we have not handled your data correctly, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, 1–3 Kifisias Avenue, 115 23 Athens, Greece, www.dpa.gr.
Security
The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
Children
The website is meant for businesses and public bodies. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the website handles personal data, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top.
